Miles “Spider” Socorro

Miles “Spider” Socorro is a sixteen-year-old boy who was born in Hell’s Gate as the child of Miles Quaritch and Paz Socorro. Although he was initially adopted by McCosker and Mary after the Pandoran War, he was enamored by Jake Sully’s family and eventually joined them.


Dr. Norm Spellman

Dr. Norm Spellman is a human anthropologist as well as an avatar driver. Unlike his friend and ally Jake Sully, Norm made the choice not to undergo a consciousness transfer into his avatar body.

Dr. Max Patel

Dr. Max Patel is a civilian scientist on Pandora. He appears to be in charge of overseeing the process of synchronizing the minds of humans with their avatar bodies as well as providing technical advice and support to the avatar team. Max is implied to have been on Pandora for a number of years by the time of Jake Sully and Norm Spellman’s arrival as a member of Dr. Grace Augustine’s original staff. He is the inside man for the Resources Development Administration (RDA) defects, and one the few humans allowed to stay on Pandora after the Pandoran War. After the war, he became the chief scientist at High Camp and one of the leading experts on Pandoran research. No longer able to use the RDA’s resources, Max and his staff conduct their independent research.


General Frances Ardmore

General Frances Ardmore is a SecOps general of the RDA, and the commander of the Joint Expeditionary Task Force. Ardmore has taken over the RDA military activity on Pandora since their return. Her duty is to do whatever she can to “tame” the frontier in order to set up humanity’s future home on Pandora, including trying to “pacify” the Na’vi. She has also authorized SecOps to kill Jake Sully due to his raids against the RDA. She is an antagonist in Avatar: The High Ground and Avatar: The Way of Water.


Mick Scoresby

Mick Scoresby is in charge of the RDA’s tulkun whaling efforts. After they boarded the SeaDragon, Mick assists Miles Quaritch and his Recom squad in their efforts to hunt down Jake Sully.


Dr. Ian Garvin

Dr. Ian Garvin is an RDA field researcher on xenomarine biology on Pandora. He is a renowned expert on Pandora’s oceans and the tulkuns. He is also incredibly brave, risking his life while scuba diving in Pandora’s predator-filled oceans in order to collect research.
